The deteriorating loss experience of medical malpractice carriers has made it harder than ever for physicians with significant claims histories to find malpractice coverage. The professionals at K&B have established relationships within the specialty lines market in order to provide distressed physicians with access to a number of carriers that will entertain risks that are no longer insurable with standard and traditional insurers.

Submission Requirements

• Fully completed appropriate insurer application.
• Application must include complete insurer history with an explanation for any gaps in coverage.
• Claims supplement forms for all previous claims with narratives detailing course of treatment, allegations, and current status of claim.
• Current loss runs from all insurers over the last 5 years. (10 years is preferred.)
• Verification of current medical licenses held.
• Verification of Board Certification, if applicable.
• Copy of resume.
• Copy of current insurer Declarations page showing policy retroactive date of coverage.
• Copy of current letterhead.
